Where Have I Been!!!

Where have I been!!! Well I have been picking myself up and running after my wagon, trying to get back on it!! I fell off the blogging wagon haha And if I’m being honest the weight loss/change in lifestyle wagon too 😥 Waaaaaa!!! But you know what they say, it’s not how many times you fall but how you get back up!

I this time I feel as though I have caught up to both of those suckers and am just trying to get comfortable! I have been back at the gym every morning and on the weekend for the past couple of weeks and am now writing my first blog in a while!

So while I was gone away to Quebec city it was hard to keep the diet in check and did not make it to the gym. Thus, basically have gained back all that I have lost. I was so frustrated and upset with myself to let this happen. Even more, I was embarrassed! Which is why I had refrained from blogging! I was feeling down on myself and had a hard time finding the motivation to blog or to workout and eat healthy. Plus I did not want to take any progress pictures since I knew I wouldn’t like what I would see… so I basically just avoided it! I know, I know it’s no way to deal with a problem lol Anyways, the important thing is that I have found my motivation and that I was able to catch up to those darn wagons!

So I have cleaned up my diet and continue to do so! I have been going to the gym at least 6 times a week and I shall try to blog at least weekly! Keeping it focused! C’mon, Let’s do this!!!

Meal Prep Sunday!

A couple days late with this sorry! But this was my meal prep this past weekend for the upcoming week! I know ham isn’t the leanest meat but I really enjoy it! Plus I don’t have it every week… just every now and again! Moderation is the key! 

The prep:

4 x ham, asparagus, baby potatoes

3 x lean ground beef, cucumber, bell pepper, and a bit of greek salad dressing (vinaigrette)! 

I also have some greek yogurt portioned out into 1 cup, some granola and some fruits for a mid morning snack while at work!

Preparation is the key!

End of Week 3

Well week 3 has come and gone.

Do I really see any changes… meh not so much yet… however, do I feel any changes? Hells ya! Which is nice! I feel, less bloated and generally happier! I know I haven’t really lost anything weight wise, however I feel as though my clothes are looking better? So either it’s just I’m feeling better or it’s because I may have lost a little bit in places I haven’t been measuring! Either way, it feels nice to feel better in my clothes haha Also, have not ripped any pants while getting dressed this week , so that’s a plus haha

Plus, I don’t know if anyone else has this but I always feel that I look better naked hahahaha before I throw on these shorts and this sports bra! I feel like I have less rolls or something..? Anyways.. maybe it’s just me haha

Measurements are pretty much staying the same. However, (sorry fellas) but I started my lady time the day I take my pictures and my measurements and let me tell you… it makes a difference! I have been feeling much more bloated and feeling less sexy haha Even my weight went up by a few pounds the last couple days, which I am assuming is from the bloating! So I dunno there’s no sense in getting all bummed about it and letting it wreck my day right! I know by next week shit should be back to normal… bloating should subside and so should the random tears!

So I know I said I would attempt to complete additional cardio, however I’m not going to lie , I did not complete this haha I actually only worked out 4 days last week… instead of my usual 5-6 times! However I did make it to yoga on Sunday so yay!

Just going to keep working at it!

Just do it!! F “Fat Pants”!!

Well here’s a little recap of this past week thus far… I worked… stayed on top of my game regarding my eating anddd my working out… So really it’s been a generally positive week I would say!

However, I did rip yet another pair of pants (inner thigh once again)!! Let me tell you, that is NOT the way to start a morning! I am usually a pretty happy person and I usually don’t let this kind of thing get me down but OMG lol ripping 2 pairs of pants within 2 weeks, CMON!!! I didn’t think I had gained THAT much weight but that made me feel as though I had haha for sure… At least my weight is going down this week, so that makes me feels better!

So anyways I was holding out to purchase new pants, because   you know, the old “I’m not buying new pants cuz I’m going to lose all this weight” excuse… But then I found myself only fitting into 3 pairs of tights (one of them becoming super sheer haha) and barely fitting into one of black jeans (giving me intense muffin top)… and let’s not forget dreading having to get dressed in the morning for work… longing for those days where I could just put on a pair a scrubs and be on my way… loll

Also, I did not want to go buy any new pairs of pants because I just didn’t want to see what size I would need to buy to finally feel comfortable (and have something other than tights to wear). I felt like as long as I didn’t purchase new pants (in a new size) I could deny the amount of weight I had gained, it wasn’t real. However, I could no longer avoid this and had to purchase a size up.

So I did it; I was out at the mall today and purchased a new pair of pants in a new size. I am hoping that they will not fit for long, but for now I am glad that I have purchased them. Now that I have a pair of pants that fits appropriately, maybe I will feel better about how I look when I get dressed in the morning… and stop… well maybe not stop but decreased the amount of time I spent pointing out my muffin top rolls in the mirror!

To all of you, especially ladies, who are avoiding purchasing new clothing in hopes of weight loss, I would advise to just buy some! Don’t get the expensive stuff, just some in-betweeners! Feeling good about yourself will be adventitious in  your weight loss journey! It will give you the confidence to push yourself at the gym and make you feel like you can do this, that you can eat chicken for the 10th time this week!

Good Night!

Sisters

Oh my goodness! I’m just getting home from seeing this movie (Sisters) and in one word AMAZING!!! This was one of the funniest movies that I have ever seen! I think I laughed about 5 minutes in and then didn’t stop until the movie was over! I would most definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for a good laugh!

Furthermore, can I say that I found it refreshing to watch a comedy with the main characters were women! I know there are many movies out there which have women in the main roles but I find that men are usually the main characters in comedies!

So anyways, GO SEE THIS MOVIE! and if you don’t go see it in at the movies then for sure rent it when it comes out!
